Gas Servicing
Do you need help with your gas fireplace? Get your unit serviced and prepared for the heating season!
Our gas servicing consists of:
- Checking the gas connections
- Cleaning the glass and exterior of the unit
- Replacing gaskets if needed
- Cleaning logs and burner of any soot buildup
- Removing all old ember material and replacing with new
- Changing the batteries to the appliance (receiver and transmitter)
- Painting any blemishes if applicable
- Removing burner and pan
- Checking venting sooting
- Checking pilot assembly and removing soot
- Removing and cleaning refractory if applicable
- Spraying interior of firebox if no refractory
- Vacuuming out bottom of firebox, valve location, and electronics
There is no specific order in which these tasks are completed and only those applicable to your unit will be completed during servicing.
The service charge is $275 + tax. However if you need any parts, you will be charge additionally for those parts.
